Edward LeClaire was born in 1974 in California. He learned to speak Spanish in grade school in California and continued those studies through college. He graduated from The University of Montana with a double major in Political Science and Spanish in 1997. Edward LeClaire graduated from The University of Montana School of Law in 2003, where he was the executive editor of the Montana Law Review. After law school, Edward spent a year clerking for Justice Leaphart of the Montana Supreme Court. From 2005 - 2008 Edward was a criminal defense attorney in Portland, Oregon. In 2008 he attended National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia. Edward spent a year in Ellensburg, WA, with his own firm specializing in criminal defense. He returns from time to time to finish cases and engage in various shenanigans. In September of 2009, Edward returned to Portland, and opened a new office.
